North Cadbury Court
North Cadbury Court is a Grade I-listed country house in the heart of Somerset, with more than 700 years of history and a working estate that still produces its own award-winning cheddar. There’s a lake, a ballroom, a casino and even a rooftop golf tee. Best of all, the whole place is ours.

Garden ceremony followed by outdoor drinks and canapés. A wedding feast in the ballroom, then a party with no curfew.
Wednesday
Lakeside BBQ
A day designed to make the most of the lake. Swimming and paddle boards alongside a relaxed afternoon BBQ (and helping us finish the leftover booze).

What should I wear?
Colourful, smart, celebratory and suitable for a garden ceremony in the country house grounds.
Whatever you're comfortable in. Bring swimmers and a towel!
Where can I stay?
We have limited accommodation onsite. If you’ve been invited to stay at the house, details will be included in your invitation. Camping onsite is also possible on the wedding night, please register your interest on your RSVP.
Otherwise, there are plenty of hotels, B&Bs and holiday cottages near North Cadbury Court. The venue has put together a list of recommended local accommodation.
How do I get there?
North Cadbury Court is in North Cadbury, Somerset, BA22 7DR. From London, the train from Paddington to Castle Cary takes around 1 hour 30 minutes, followed by roughly a 10 minute drive to the Court.

Where can I book a taxi?
Taxis need to be booked in advance. There aren’t many locally and you won’t be able to rely on Uber at the end of the wedding night. You can find the venue’s recommended taxi companies.
Is there parking at the venue?
Yes, there is parking at North Cadbury Court. Cars can be left overnight if needed.
What about dietary requirements?
You’ll be able to let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when you RSVP.
Can I change my RSVP later?
Yes. Just find your invitation and submit another reply, your latest response will replace the previous one. If you change your response within 6 months of the wedding, please also text us to let us know.
What about gifts?
There is absolutely no expectation to give us a gift. Your presence, especially midweek, is more than enough! If you would like to give something, we’d love a vinyl record (a favourite of yours that you think we’d enjoy), a donation to Dorothy House Hospice Care, or a contribution to our honeymoon fund (details to follow).
